PDF to HTML, free in your browser
Extract readable text, headings, tables, and supported images into one standalone HTML file. Scanned pages use on-device OCR; the HTML keeps content structure but does not reproduce exact PDF page layout.
How to convert PDF to HTML
- Choose a PDF file.
- Choose whether to include supported embedded images, then convert.
- Download the standalone HTML file.
Limits & good to know
- This creates structured, reflowable HTML; it does not preserve the PDF’s exact positions, fonts, colors, or page layout.
- Scanned pages use on-device OCR. Accuracy depends on scan quality.
- Supported extracted images are embedded in the HTML file; some vector art or complex page graphics may not carry across.
- Files up to 200 MB and 500 pages are accepted, subject to available device memory.
- Everything runs in your browser; no file upload or sign-up is required.
Frequently asked questions
- Are my files uploaded to a server?
- Your files are processed on your device, not uploaded to our servers. Your file and edits are saved in this browser for recovery, and previous documents remain in Saved drafts when you open another file. Use Saved drafts to resume or delete individual copies, or clear this site’s browser data to remove all copies. Browser storage can be cleared or become unavailable; download important work.
- Will the HTML look exactly like my PDF?
- No. It preserves readable structure and supported images, but not exact page geometry, font styling, or colors.
- Can I convert a scanned PDF?
- Yes. Scanned pages are read with on-device OCR; recognition quality depends on the scan.
- Is this really free, or free "until you hit a limit"?
- Really free. Unlike most "free" PDF sites there is no task-per-day cap, no locked Pro features, no watermark stamped on your file, and no payment step before download. Every tool is the full tool.
